The Dogs Trust, previously known as the National Canine Defence League, is the UK's largest dog welfare charity and cares for over 16,000 dogs each year at their 17 rehoming centres across the country. They believe a dog is for life and not just for Christmas ® and never destroy a healthy dog.
The charity finds new homes for stray and abandoned dogs giving them all the second chance they deserve. In addition to the rehoming work, Dogs Trust also tackles the root cause of the stray dog problem through their neutering, education and microchipping campaigns.
